Head Coach Justin Roe, a native of upstate New York, comes to RPI with an outstanding track record of developing and preparing tennis players for success on the collegiate level. Coach Justin played his college tennis at Keuka College - leaving the program as the All Time Wins Leader and breaking records for most doubles wins in one season / most singles wins in one season.
Before accepting the head coaching position at RPI - Coach Justin coached women's tennis at division one Seattle University. While at SU, he helped develop numerous two/three star recruits to a 9+ UTR while also leading his players to some of the best upsets in the Seattle U Tennis program history.
With wins over Stanford, Cal, and numerous blue chip prospects; Coach Justin believe that the fun and aggressive style of tennis he teaches allows players to stop over-thinking, while training players to react and hit the right ball at the right time. Coach Justin's masters degree in educational psychology allows him to prepare his tennis players both athletically and mentally.
Coach Justin came to RPI with the goal of bringing National Championships to Troy, NY. If you are a tennis player that wants to play tennis at a high level, while attending a college that will prepare you to graduate with a high paying job awaiting you upon graduation - RPI is a tremendous fit.
