What is this Event about?

The USP College Tennis Winter Showcase gives participants the opportunity to be exposed in front of college coaches who come from around the country to recruit players for their teams and offer athletic & and academic scholarships.

Who can participate?

The Showcase is open to National and International players who are freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors in High School, recently graduated, or college transfer players.

Note: Players who have been out of high school for over one year and have not attended university, may not be eligible to play college tennis.

How many players can be recruited?

All attending coaches will have one or more open spots on their teams. They will offer those spots/scholarships at the showcase to the right players. Historically an average of 60% of showcase participants receives some type of athletic and/or academic scholarship offers.

Is this event for US players only?

The USP College Tennis Winter Showcase is an International event. Players from different states in the USA and all around the world are allowed to participate.

What does an Athletic Scholarship cover?

Athletic Scholarships can be full or partial. This will depend on what coaches have available, and the level of the player they are looking for. In most cases, athletic scholarships will be partial and they cover the total or a portion of the tuition, books, room, and board.

For what college entrance date will coaches be recruiting for?

Most coaches will come to recruit players for their 2022, 2023, and 2024 classes.

How will I know that a college coach is interested in me?

If a coach approaches you during the showcase, that is always a great sign. But many coaches rather follow up with players after at a later date. All coaches will have each player's contact information from the moment they signed up. Do not feel shy to approach any coach, they are all willing to speak to players.

Which college coaches will be participating?

USP sends invitations to over 2000 college coaches across the 50 States and members of all athletic divisions: NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA. Confirmation from colleges will be sent closer to the event date. An average of 121 colleges participates in the USP College Winter Showcase.

How do I register?

You can enroll by clicking on the Player or Coach “Sign Up” button on the Home Page. Once your account has been created, select the program you wish to participate in and proceed to complete the enrollment form. Click Here to Enroll.

How can I secure my spot?

After Signing Up you must make full payment to secure your spot. The showcase has a limited capacity, so your spot is guaranteed.

Is there a deadline? When do spots fill up?

We do not have a formal enrollment deadline for our programs. We encourage the family to sign up as quickly as possible to ensure that we will still have space available in the program. Every year our showcase programs are full with a waiting list. So early enrollment is highly recommended.

How many players is the maximum for the College Tennis Showcase?

The maximum number of players is 100 boys and 100 girls.

Where will the Showcase take place?

It will take place at ASC Sánchez-Casal Tennis Academy - Naples. 2035 Sanchez-Casal Way, Naples, FL 34105.

What is your cancellation policy?

All payments are final and only refunded if the Protection Plan has been purchased by the family. In case of inclement weather conditions or any major disaster, the showcase times will be rescheduled to be played no later than Sunday 12/04/21.

Can parents participate?

Parents are welcome to participate at the Showcase every day.
