Greg Coache was named head women's tennis coach at Southern New Hampshire University in August, 2007. In March 2010, Coache took the reins of the men's program. He has transformed both programs into top programs both in the Northeast-10 and the East Region while garnering eight Northeast-10 “Coach of the Year” honors and four ITA East Region Coach of the Year awards.

In Coache's first 10 seasons with the women's program, he has compiled a 145-60 (.707) record, guided the Penmen to four Northeast-10 regular season championships (2010-13), three NE10 tournament championships (2010, 2011, 2012) and five straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 2009-13, and a sixth in 2017, while being named Northeast-10 Coach of the Year four times (2010, 2012, 2013, 2014) and ITA East Region Coach of the Year twice (2010, 2010). The Penmen have also had the Northeast-10 Player of the Year six times, with Amber Chandronnait garnering the award in 2009, 2010 and 2011 before Alena Mukdaprakorn grabbed the honor in 2012 and 2013, followed by Abla Chadli in 2017.

In his first seven full seasons with the men's program he has guided SNHU to six NCAA appearances and the program’s first-ever NE10 tournament championship in 2014, followed by back-to-back league crowns in 2016 and 2017. Coache, who owns a 92-67 (.579) record with the men, has been named the Northeast-10 Coach of the Year four times (2011, 2013, 2016, 2017), while he also received ITA regional Coach of the Year honors two times (2011, 2017). In 2013-14 the Penmen went 18-6, setting a single-season school record for victories, while he coaches NE10 Player of Year Mitch Dobek in 2011 and Tiago Fernandes in 2017.

Prior to his arrival at SNHU, Coache served as a high school tennis coach for the previous 10 years, reaching the playoffs in nine of those years, which included one state championship and five state semifinal appearances. In the state championship year he was named New Hampshire's "Coach of the Year".

Coache also has extensive experience as a player, as in 1992 he earned the No. 1 ranking in New England in doubles. Coache currently plays USTA team tennis where for the past 10 years his teams earned trips to the regional championships and two trips to the national tournament in Hawaii and Palm Springs. He played his college tennis at Springfield College from 1976-80, where he was a Health Recreation and Physical Education major.

Coache has obtained United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Elite Professional status as a certified teaching professional as well as USPTA certified Wheelchair tennis instructor certification. In December 2015, Coache also completed Competitive Coaching Course Training and Pro Coaching Course Training, taught by Emilio Sanchez Vicario at the Academia Sanchez-Casal Tennis Academy.

Coache currently owns and operates Coache Tennis Academy, a high-performance tennis program in central New Hampshire. He has three sons and three grandchildren and resides in Bow, N.H. with wife Sheila
