Our staff will greet players arriving at George Bush International Airport, and transport them to the official tour hotel in Houston. A welcome dinner and introductory meeting will take place for all players. They will be introduced to the staff, learn about the trip details, itinerary and very important rules. Every player will receive a Tour Player Package.

Day 2 Monday, July 24

U. of Houston

In this first day, players will tour the University of Houston (UH), the 3rd largest university in Texas with over 280 degree programs, and ranked as a top research institution. UH competes in the NCAA I intercollegiate athletics. The campus tour will be conducted by a college representative who will provide all information and answer questions. It will also include a talk with the college coach on the life of a college tennis player. Later that day, players will participate in a two hour training session and we will still have time to squeeze in a tour to the city and enjoy a nice dinner.

Day 3 Tuesday, July 25

Texas A&M

After an early breakfast we are on our way to College Station, where we will visit one of the country's largest and most recognizable institutions: Texas A&M University (TAMU). With over 56,000 students, Texas A&M's is the only university in Texas that holds all three designation as a land, sea, and space grant institution, with ongoing projects funded by agencies such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The Texas A&M Aggies athletes currently compete in 18 varsity sports as a member of the Southeastern Conference. Their men and women's team are ranked by the ITA as a top 25 and by USP as a top During the visit, we will tour the campus, have a presentation from admission and financial aid representatives and spend some time with their tennis coaches.

A high level training session will take place at a high performance tennis academy in preparation to the college tennis showcase. It will include match play, player evaluations and college videos production by USP.

Day 4 Wednesday, July 26

Baylor University

After an early breakfast we are on our way to Waco to visit Baylor University, the oldest university in Texas that is ranked every year in the top 70 academic institutions in the USA, and rated a top 50 best value school. With a student population under 15,000, Baylor University's athletic teams, known as the Bears, participate in 19 intercollegiate sports in the NCAA I. Their tennis teams are currently ranked #10 and # 11 in the Nation for Women and Men respectively. They are also ranked # by USP.

During the visit, we will tour the campus, have a presentation from admission and financial aid representatives and spend some time with their tennis coaches. Day 5 Thursday, July 27

University of Texas & St. Edward´s

This will be one of our busiest days of the tour, as we will be visiting two college campuses (Texas and St. Edwards). Ranked top 50 in the country and #6 in Business, The University of Texas hast the seventh largest campus enrollment in the country with over 50,000 students. The Longhorns are members of the Big 12 Conference, ranked by the ITA 7 (men) and 47 (women), and by USP (men) and (women).

St. Edward's University is a private, liberal arts Roman Catholic university with approximately 5,000 students. Ranked # 2 in the country as the Best Undergraduate Teaching by US News. It competes in the NCAA II having a total of 29 NCAA Tournament appearances over the last five seasons. Their tennis teams are ranked #24 (Men) and #37 (Women). During both visits players will tour the campuses, meet with admissions counselors and have the opportunity to speak to the tennis coaches.

Day 6
Friday, July 28

Showcase
at Rice University

First Day

The College Tennis Showcase is a full day of match play in front of guest college coaches from across the country. Each player will have a chance to play points in a court rotation, with different partners and opponents. Also, singles and doubles short matches will take place that will also count towards their UTR rating.

Players will take a campus tour to Rice University, considered the top university and the most selective institute of higher education in the state of Texas. Ranked by US News as the top 15 in the USA, and #18 in undergraduate Engineering.

Their athletic program competes in the NCAA I, with their tennis teams ranked by the ITA #37 (Women) and # 24 (Men); and by USP .

Day 7
Saturday, July 29

Showcase
at Rice University

Second Day

  • End of Tour Dinner Event

In the second day of the showcase, players will continue to compete in match play, which will give the coaches even more opportunities to evaluate and meet with players. Each coach will have players information available through their only online dashboard and be able to easily communicate with them after the showcase. Players will also have the ability to communicate with coaches through the dashboard. The day will end with a Dinner Event to wrap up the tour and give all players final recommendations.

Day 8 Sunday, July 30

Return Home

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Transportation to Airport

After a tremendous and productive week, the tour comes to an end. All players will be transported from the hotel to George Bush International Airport. Tour staff will make sure every player has boarded their flight back home.

A College Tennis Assessment will be prepared and posted in each player's online Dashboard so parents can review our feedback on the player's potential and level as a college recruit. A list of recommendations will be presented. Also, players will be able to communicate with all showcase and tour coaches through their dashboard.
