The USP College Tennis Generic Showcase gives participants the opportunity to be exposed in front of college coaches who come from around the country to recruit players for their teams and offer athletic & and academic scholarships.
Players have the option to participate in any of the three programs:
1) Full Week
2) Showcase with Boarding
3) Showcase Only
The Showcase is open to National and International players who are sophomores, juniors or Seniors in High School, or college transfer.
Note: Players who have been out of high school for over one year and not attended university, may not be eligible to play college tennis.
All attending coaches will have one or more open spots on their teams. They will offer those spots / scholarships at the showcase to the right players. Historically an average of 50% of showcase participants receive some type of athletic and/or academic scholarship offers.
The USP College Tennis Generic Showcase is an International event. Players from different states in the USA and all around the world are allowed to participate.
Athletic Scholarships can be full or partial. This will depend on what coaches have available, and the level of the player they are looking for. In most cases, athletic scholarships will be partial and they cover the total or a portion of the tuition, books, room and board.
Most coaches will come to recruit players for their 2018 and 2019 class.
College coaches can talk to players during the day of the showcase. Some coaches may want to contact the players at a later date. All coaches will have each player's contact information.
USP sends invitation to over 2000 colleges coaches across the 50 States and members of all athletic divisions: NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA. Confirmation from colleges will be sent closer to the event date. An average of 90 colleges participate in the USP College Tennis Showcases every year. See list of previous years participating colleges: College List

Yes, students of the same gender may make a mutual request and we will do our best to accommodate the request. These requests need to be mutual, and need to be received prior to the preparation of the housing list for the Tour. If there are more than two students requesting each other we will do our best to room them together or near each other. Any other arrangements would need to be approved in writing by the Tour Director to be considered guaranteed.
We offer an adult instructor to student ratio of 1:12. Players are supervised 24 hours. Staff includes showcase director, event coordinator, player coordinators and coaches. Click here to see Staff.
All breakfast will take place at the hotels. Lunch and Dinner will be at quality restaurants that offer a variety of foods that fulfill the needs of young athletes. At the Showcase, lunches will be served at the event site.
Transportation is offered for those players participating in the Full Week or Showcase with Boarding program. This includes airport pick up and daily transportation.
If special dining/dietary needs are required, we will do our best to accommodate the player. If students will be bringing medication, or have special medical needs, please indicate that on our medical form. Our event uses facilities with medical clinics and hospitals nearby, we do not have a nurse on site at our programs. Generally we ask families to equip their child to store and administer his/her application individually, and do not take possession of medication or administer medication directly to the students. We may make special accommodations outside of the policy, however, so please contact our office to discuss your individual situation.
